Flow Analysis Service

Measurement of injection flow length using spiral flow.

We measure the resin flow length when injection molding is performed under certain conditions. The mold is designed with a resin injection port at the center, and a spiral groove with a constant spacing based on an Archimedean spiral is used. A flow velocity meter is incorporated within the cavity to measure the flow velocity immediately after injection. Additionally, a flow velocity sensor installed in the mold allows for the determination of the initial flow velocity into the cavity, as well as the shear rate and shear viscosity at the time of passing through the sensor. [Features] ■ Capable of calculating shear rate and shear viscosity during cavity passage ■ Allows comparison of flow length and shear viscosity *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Groundwater flow analysis

We predict fluctuations in groundwater levels and the flow of groundwater!

In underground construction work, it is necessary to consider the impact on groundwater. For example, in tunnel construction, the lowering of the groundwater level during excavation and the obstruction of flow after completion can affect surrounding water sources. Additionally, when focusing on river embankments, the infiltration of river water into the embankment and foundation during rainfall can lead to embankment failure. At Applied Technology Co., Ltd., we conduct simulations using FEM analysis software to quantitatively evaluate the flow of groundwater and its associated effects on the ground. We have extensive experience in both disaster prevention and environmental measures regarding groundwater, so please feel free to contact us.

Moving Boundary: Flow Analysis in a Stirring Tank Due to Impeller Rotation

Visualization of the fluid behavior in the tank generated by the rotation of the impeller, accompanied by a moving boundary.

Moving Boundary: In the flow analysis of a mixing tank caused by the rotation of an impeller, we conducted a numerical simulation with moving boundaries to visualize the behavior of the fluid generated by the rotation of the impeller within the tank. The mixing and blending of fluids in a mixing tank is one of the important processes in the chemical and bio fields. There are various types of blade shapes, and the goal is to sufficiently mix and blend the contents inside the mixing tank. For more details, please download the catalog.

2-axis screw compressor flow analysis

Introduction to a fluid analysis simulation of a two-axis screw compressor using SimericsMP+ and SCORG for thermal fluid analysis.

CFD allows for the shortening of product development periods, reduction of prototype costs, and acquisition of detailed data that is difficult to measure through experiments. In this article, we will introduce application examples using Simerics' CAE/CFD software that can be beneficial for product development. Two-axis screw compressors have applications in refrigeration and air conditioning-related fields, such as air conditioners and refrigerators. In the design process, a significant amount of cost and time must be spent on prototyping and experiments. With Simerics' CFD, high-performance thermal fluid analysis can be processed quickly through large-scale parallel computing, allowing for easy and rapid acquisition of results. Additionally, the cooling lubricant is analyzed using the VOF method, recreating conditions close to actual experiments. This is expected to significantly reduce man-hours and costs! There are still many reasons to use Simerics' CFD software. Please check the link below or feel free to contact us!

Autodesk Moldflow Contracted Resin Flow Analysis Service

Are you having any trouble now? Do you have enough time secured for analysis resources, licenses, and creation? Can we solve it with Moldflow?

In a wide range of fields such as automotive parts, home appliances, medical devices, and construction materials, mold making is essential for mass-produced products. However, the more complex the shape or conditions, the more uncertainties arise. The possibility of molding defects after the mold is created is particularly likely in new developments, so it is necessary to consider whether "defect-free productization" can be achieved before mold making and before mass production. Our company utilizes analytical technology to support part of your product development. This reduces the repair man-hours in design, processing, and manufacturing sites. **Benefits of Adoption:** 1. Identify defects during the prototype stage to prevent yield loss during mass production. 2. Shorten the development period by reducing correction time due to defects. 3. Conduct simulations multiple times, leading to the creation of satisfactory conditions and shapes, significantly improving quality. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
